Quinte Conservation staff continue to monitor water conditions closely. They says Lake Ontario and Bay of Quinte may peak within a week. Water resources manager Christine McClure says if we get minimal rainfall the bodies of water should peak. However, we could still see increasing water levels of up to 30 centimeters on shorelines due to winds and wave action. Flood warnings remain in effect for the Bay of Quinte, Lake Ontario and in Quinte Conservation watersheds.
