QUINTE CONSERVATION CELEBRATES 70TH ANNIVERSARY WITH PHOTO CONTEST

As part of their 70th anniversary celebration, Quinte Conservation is holding a photography contest. Jennifer May-Anderson says entering is easy:

   
There are three categories for photographers to choose from: People (photograph family or friends enjoying a recreational activity at a conservation area), Wildlife (photos capturing wildlife in its natural habitat) and Landscapes (photographs taken at conservation areas throughout the different seasons to showcase the natural beauty of our watershed). Jennifer says the photos will be used for greeting cards:


The grand prize for the contest consists of a family pass to Ripley's Aquarium, a VIA Rail credit of $250, Stirling Festival Theatre Tickets, a $50 Ivanhoe Cheese Gift Card, a Depot Lakes camping package and an Ottawa Senators hat. The contest runs until October 31st.
