While OPP with Prince Edward County were investigating a collision caused by an impaired driver they caught another driver under the influence. A little after 2:00 Sunday morning a vehicle left the roadway and rolled onto the front lawn of a home on Loyalist Parkway ejecting one person while the other two occupants remained inside the vehicle. The 19-year-old driver from the Kingston area is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm. One person remains in hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. While officers were on the scene another driver approached the scene. Officers could smell alcohol on her breath. She registered a warn on the roadside test and was giving a three day licence suspension. Less than two hours later and police had another impaired driver in custody. While on patrol in Wellington a 25-year-old Prince Edward County man was stopped and taking to the detachment for further testing. He's charged with impaired and stunt driving.
