QUINTE CONSERVATION EXTENDS FLOOD WARNING
8/10/2017 9:26:54 AM

Quinte Conservation has extended its flood warning until September. Water levels on Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte are still significantly high for this time of year even after dropping over 30 cms since peaking on May 29th. Shoreline erosion is still a possibility because of the high water levels, strong winds and strong waves. If you live along the shoreline you'll need to get a permit if you plan on doing any work near the water. The warning is in effect for the Napanee, Prince Edward County and Quinte Region.
