KINGSTON BUDGET SET WHILE GREATER NAPANEE TALKS YET TO BEGIN

Greater Napanee Council has yet to begin its budget deliberations but next year's numbers for the City of Kingston are set. Property owners in the limestone city are looking at a 2.5 per cent tax rate increase. Final approval for the $378 million dollar operating, $58 million dollar capital and $95 million dollar utility related budgets is expected December 19th. In Greater Napanee budget talks start December 18th when council will go over the utilities budget and a municipal tax rate comparison. The public meeting starts at 7:00 in Council Chambers.
