2/13/2018 2:07:30 PM

The Province of Ontario is supporting Quinte Health Care with their new hospital being built in Picton. Dr. Eric Hoskins, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, was in Picton yesterday to announce that the province is providing a grant to help plan for a redevelopment of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. The project will result in a new, modern facility that would include improved infection prevention, patient and family experience and staff safety. Building and expanding hospitals is part of Ontario's plan to create fairness and opportunity during this period of rapid economic change. The Province will provide QHC with up to $500,000 dollars.
