KINGSTON POLICE LOOKING FOR 2 SUSPECTS FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

Kingston police have made one arrest in relation to an attempted murder case. In response to social media posts police received information that the 17-year-old suspect was in the area of John Counter Boulevard and Montreal Street. Officers responded and after a short foot pursuit the youth was arrested. They're still looking for 19 year old Josh Owen Simpson, pictured above. The two face charges of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and robbery. According to police, a man was found severely beaten in an alley way between Kingscourt Avenue and Nelson Street yesterday afternoon. Police say the pair also entered a home and violently assaulted another man on Newmarket Lane at about 2 a.m. this morning.
