ICE STORM REMAINS IN THE FORECAST
4/13/2018 9:20:28 AM

Environment Canada says there is still the potential for an ice storm in the area tomorrow and into Sunday. Rain is expected to change to freezing rain early tomorrow morning as colder air moves in. Freezing rain could last for several hours before switching to ice pellets. At this time we could see several centimetres of ice pellets over the course of the day Saturday. It should taper off a bit Saturday night but another system will move in overnight and into Sunday morning bringing more freezing rain before switching to snow or heavy rain. It's still too soon to say how much freezing rain we'll get Sunday but Environment Canada warns some regions could get in excess of 20 mm.
