7/11/2018 9:58:46 AM

Belleville Police Service were kept busy rounding up livestock. Police spent about five hours on July 9 and into Tuesday morning steering cattle back into their pasture, after they were found roaming in the area of Highway #2 and Mitchell Road. The cows got out through a broken fence and got onto the highway. Police weren't able to reach the owner of the livestock right away, but Public Works ended up installing a temporary fence to keep the cattle in. An investigation continues.
