The investigation into a multi vehicle collision concludes with charges for a woman from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
On March 30, shortly before 1pm officers of the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the OPP and Greater Napanee Emergency Services responded to a report of a multiple vehicle collision at the intersection of Alkenbrack Street and Centre Street in Greater Napanee.
An investigation revealed that a southbound pickup truck proceeded through a red light on Centre Street and collided with another vehicle. The truck then drove over the center median and collided with three other vehicles. Several persons were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
As a result of the investigation L&A County OPP has charged a 29 year old woman from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
