The Ontario Government is providing up to $1,155,136 to help improve the delivery of critical programs and services in Eastern Ontario through the Municipal Modernization Program.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need to deliver programming more efficiently so that people can access the services they need, when they need them,” said MPP Daryl Kramp. “These projects will ensure our communities in these four adjacent Eastern Ontario counties will benefit from innovative and streamlined solutions to improve services and save taxpayer dollars.”
Locally, funds will go towards Online Incident Reporting, Online Fee Payment and Building and Planning Application Portal in Loyalist Township. In Tyendinaga, funds will support Asset and Recreation Process Modernization. In the Township of Madoc, Service Delivery Review of Administrative Processes
