It’s Women of Influence Day presented by Bennett’s Furniture and Mattresses. We are profiling Lennox and Addington CAO Brenda Orchard.
Brenda in her career has been CAO for three municipalities and has done municipal work in three different provinces. When asked for an accomplishment she was most proud of, she said it was hard to pick just one. She says it’s wonderful to make a difference in the community you live.
Some advise Orchard would give to the next generation would be to volunteer as much as you can. If there are any roles you are passionate about, don’t be afraid to build up your resume by doing some volunteering.
