It’s your final chance to receive a first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
Public Health are closing their mass immunization clinics and will be shifting their focus to smaller vaccine settings such as pharmacies and primary care physicians.
myFM spoke with public health Nurse Deb Vine who is working at the SPC clinic about the final day.
All day today, August 2, from 9:30am until 4:30pm the vaccine clinic at the SPC will be accepting walk-in’s for those still in need of a first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Public health are also encouraging those returning to school this fall to become fully vaccinated in time for September. It is recommended those returning receive a first dose this week, as there is a 28 day minimum wait before receiving a second dose.
