Polls are now closed and ballots are being counted in the 44th federal election. Here is a look at the numbers here in Hastings-Lennox and Addington.
There is a chance we will not know tonight. Elections Canada say over 4,000 residents in H-L&A registered for mail-in ballots, which will not be counted until tomorrow, September 21. The process is reported to possibly take two to five days.

Liberal – Mike Bossio – 9,934 votes – 33.8%
NDP – Matilda DeBues – 3,569 – 12.2%
PPC – James Babcock – 1,841 votes – 6.3%
Green – Reg Wilson – 556 votes – 1.9%
Independent – Jennifer Sloan – 421 votes – 1.4%
