A new Multi-Sport Play Court is to be installed in the town of Greater Napanee.
Staff are in the initial stages of adding this court to King Street Park, with an anticipation it will be complete for public use in 2022.
This multi-play court will serve many recreational uses, including, A full-sized basketball court, a tennis court, 4 pickleball courts, a tennis practice wall and a hockey accuracy training wall.
Work is also underway at the North and South Fred sports complexes, as both locations are getting courts of their own. With bigger space to work with, both of these courts will be double in size, allowing for even more recreational use.
