A local athlete is getting ready for Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Saskatchewan.
myFM caught up with Scott Chadwick of Napanee, who began his curling career at the Napanee District Curling Club at the age of 5, where his dad would bring him along to men’s league.
Chadwick is part of team Horgan as lead. The team also includes skip Tanner Horgan, third Jon Beuk, second Wesley Forget, alternate Jacob Horgan and coach Sean Turriff.
The trials begin tomorrow, November 20th. Chadwick told us how the team’s feeling ahead of the trials in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Chadwick told us what it would mean to win these trials and go on to Beijing to represent Canada in the 2022 winter Olympics.
