The Kingston – Quinte ride for Dad event is coming up, and there’s still lots of time to register.
myFM spoke with Mark King, who says the main reason for Ride for Dad, is to raise awareness on prostate cancer, and to help raise funds for research and the search for a cure.
This years ride is schedule to take place Saturday May 28th. Ride day registration takes place the morning of beginning at 7:30 until 9am, which kickstands up at 9:30.
Pre-registration is available by visiting RideForDad.ca.
King told us a bit about what will be happening after the ride.
Those who don’t ride are also encouraged to attend and make a donation if they like. King told myFM it is quite the show in the morning before their ride, as they have had 300-500 bikes in the past.
For more information, or to make a donation, you can visit RideForDad.ca.
