The 2022 Greater Napanee Parade of Lights is coming up this weekend! This year Elsie Dowdle will not be able to be positioned with her microphone along the parade route cheering on the floats as they pass by, but she will be watching the parade online!
Ahead of the parade, myFM spoke with Santa, who had a little mix-up in his workshop. The special shampoo that keeps his beard so white got mixed up with an elf’s purple hair dye, leaving Santa with a purple beard! But no worries! Santa’s back to his usual white bearded self.
Santa reminds us that community members are encouraged to attend the parade with some purple this year.
Elsie has been a huge part of many events in the Greater Napanee community and is a true community leader.
The Greater Napanee Parade of Lights take place this Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 5:30pm.
