THE FUNDRAISERS presented by McCutcheon Insurance. We are profiling the annual Sandy Pines Wildlife Center Baby Shower.
The centre has been in operation since 1994, and helps all injured and orphaned wildlife and releases them back into the wild.
After some time away and hosting the event virtually during the pandemic, organizers are very excited for a return of an in-person Baby Shower.
As you would bring a gift to a to a regular baby shower, the SPWC also asks for gifts during their baby shower. Although, the gifts aren’t your traditional baby shower presents.
SPWC keeps a wish list on their website of item that they need year-round. By bringing gifts, this helps them save on some costs, to put towards more medical expenses.
This year’s event takes place Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
