It’s the start of paddling season here in Lennox & Addington, and the Museum will host two special guests on Tuesday, May 16th for a presentation that paddling and nature enthusiasts won’t want to miss.
myFM spoke with Programs & Exhibitions Co-ordinator Alannah McGregor, who told us about this special edition of Tuesday Night at the Museum.
Husband and wife team Carol Vanden Engel and Glenn Green completed a three-year paddle across Canada from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean, encountering many challenges along the way.
During their journey, they raise funds for Loving Spoonful, an organization that connects people with food across Kingston and the surrounding area.
The doors will open at 6:30pm with the talk to begin at 7:00pm. There is a $3 admission fee to attend.
