The Town of Greater Napanee approved a new garbage tax levy earlier this year that saw the community receive their garbage bag tags by mail. Each property that was levied the $100.00 waste collection fee received 25 bag tags for 2023. And for some, that’s too many.

myFM spoke with executive director Kevin Alkenbrack, who told us yes, they will accept your surplus tags.
Morningstar themselves will also use the tags from time to time. They offer many food programs, and though they compost most food waste, some of it needs to go to the curb.
