United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington is pleased to announce around $600,000 in funding to support projects in KFL&A through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund.
The Community Services Recovery Fund is a one-time investment by the Government of Canada to help Community Service Organizations adapt, modernize, and be better equipped to improve the efficacy, accessibility, and sustainability of the community services that they are providing through the pandemic recovery and beyond.
Of the 13 project to receive funding, the Amherstview Lion’s Club’s Emergency food bank is set to receive $11,000.
