
It was great night of hockey in Napanee to end the week heading into the long weekend.
Friday, October 6th, the Raiders played their first matchup with the perfect 4-0 Frankford Huskies at the SPC. The Raiders started strong with the first with goals by Christos Chronis, Cameron Krupa and Marchal McFarland for a 3-0 lead. Second period saw two goals by Frankford to bring them within one goal of the Raiders at 3-2. Reid Lambert would open the scoring in the third period for a 4-2 Raiders lead. Then with 5 seconds left, McFarland would score on the empty net for a 5-2 final score.
The Napanee Raiders are tied for second in the East Tod Division standings with a 3-2-0-1 record and 7 points. They sit behind Frankford (4-1 and 8 points) and are tied with Port Hope (3-1-0-1 and 7 points).
The Raiders return to action Friday, October 13th, when they will host the Port Hope Panthers at the SPC. Puck drop at 7:30pm.
