A big thank you is being shared with donors who continue to support the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital.
The LACGH Foundation hosted their annual Donor Appreciation event to celebrate the donors who have donated life amounts of $1,000 or more, and to recognize their support over the last year.
Foundation Chair Kelly Roantree thanked the donors in attendance.
The Foundation was also excited to announce the commencement of fundraising for a brand new MRI at the hospital, thanks to funding from the province.
Guest speaker Karen Pearson has been working in imaging for over 40 years, most recently as the Director of Imaging Services at Kingston General Hospital until retirement in 2022. She came out of retirement to assist with the procurement of the new MRI.
Pearson told donors in attendance about the team behind this project, about the machine itself, and how the entire region will benefit.
This new MRI machine is a $3.5 million campaign.
You can currently support the campaign by taking part in the foundation’s 50/50 draw! The next draw takes place November 10th. For more information, visit LACGHFoundation5050.com.
