The update right now is that there is no update following Monday’s fire that brought down the ‘Old Arena’ on York Street in Napanee.
Constable David Yome, L&A OPP Media Relations Officer, tells myFM that they are upping their patrol in the community as they and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office investigate these three suspicious fires.
myFM visited Napanee Fire Chief Bill Hammond on the scene, where he says crews have been focusing today on the front second story of the building.
Hammond says they are focusing on several separate spots within that area of the second floor in the front of the building.
They will be finishing their work later today.
