The Lennox and Addington County OPP needs your help to find out who damaged the fence at the Quinte Regional Detention Centre in Napanee.
Around 1:27 p.m. on November 24, 2023, police were called about a vehicle crashing into the fence there. The vehicle was a black truck driven by a man fitting the following description: a white male in his early 40s, with salt & pepper hair, wearing a grey sweater and jeans, 6 feet tall, and slim.
The truck managed to get out from the ditch and the damaged fence and left the area heading west on Richmond Blvd. It will likely show damage on the front and passenger side and is missing the passenger-side mirror.
Police are asking for help from anyone who might have home security or vehicle video footage of the incident.
