It was an exciting 11 weeks across the KFL&A region as the United Way held their annual fundraising campaign.
This year’s goal was set at $3,820,000, matching their 2022 total. This year the community came together to raise $3,920,000!
Greater Napanee Mayor Terry Richardson was one of the local politicians to speak Friday morning when the total was shared,
He went on to say none of us have the capability or the resources to break all of the wrongs in our community, but together we can change the narrative, make a change, help guide many towards the positives in life and away from the negatives.
These funds will be swiftly distributed to local agencies, addressing pressing needs like food security, mental health, addiction support, and homelessness in the KFL&A community.
