ABNA Investments submitted an application to increase the height and footprint of some of the buildings.
During a public meeting early in last night’s agenda, the proponent’s planner Youko Leclerc said they were looking to find some additional efficiency.
Leclerc explained some more of the changes.
Leclerc says it is their opinion that this is a project that will contribute positively to the housing supply in Napanee, help invigorate the downtown core with important components of commercial along the streetscape and is compatible with the surrounding uses.
General Manager of Growth and Expansion Michael Nobes shared that staff are recommending approval of the application.
Nobes say they are within those time frames, but that staff have undertaken a thorough review of the application and are supportive.
Napanee Council voted to approve the application.
