Health Minister Sylvia Jones was asked during a press conference Wednesday what her ministry and the provincial government is doing to address the overcrowded and understaffed emergency departments across Ontario.
She makes the argument that throwing money at the many concerns isn’t a bonafide solution.
She says they’ve been working and implementing solutions for both the short and long term and referenced some examples.
Emergency departments continue to operate beyond capacity with not enough staff, leading to closures in many cases.
