The OPP have arrested a 40-year-old from Montreal in connection with a suspected drone drop of illegal items at Millhaven Penitentiary.
At around 7:30 pm on May 9, 2024, police were notified of a completed drone drop containing a cell phone, cannabis, hash, and tobacco. Later, around 9:00 pm, a traffic stop was made on a Quebec rental vehicle on Bath Road, revealing five cell phones and a receipt for SIM card purchases and activations.
Sebastien Claude faces charges including:
- Distribute over 30g of dried cannabis
- Mischief – Interfere with lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property-under $5000
- Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
- Delivers contraband to, or receives contraband from an inmate
He was held for a bail hearing and will appear in court in Greater Napanee at a later date.
