Update June 28, 8:19am: County Road 1 has reopened. Stone Mills Fire department says the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Ontario Fire Marshall is assisting with the investigation.
The Enright Cattle Company shared on social media, “We are devastated by the loss of our building at Quinn’s Meats to fire yesterday. Deepest thanks to the Stone Mills and Loyalist firefighters who responded to the scene, and to our neighbours who brought them food and drink as they fought the fire. Fortunately there were no injuries. Our thoughts are now on how best to help our community of farmers and customers. We will provide further updates here and on our website as available.”

Original Article June 27, 7:28pm: County Road 1 is currently closed between CR-4 and CR-6 in Stone Mills Township as emergency crews are currently on scene battling a fire at Quinn’s Meats.
The Stone Mills Fire Department first arrived around 5pm this evening to find heavy smoke coming from the roof area.
It’s been confirmed that the employees were able to evacuate safely, and no live animals were harmed.
