The East Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging young people to share any information about threats against schools in eastern Ontario. School threats have raised concerns among youth, and the OPP wants to hear from anyone who knows about such incidents.
Young people are encouraged to speak with a teacher, parent, trusted adult, or contact the police or Crime Stoppers if they have information. Adults are also invited to visit their local OPP detachment to provide relevant details.
The OPP is committed to investigating school threats to ensure the safety of communities and schools. For support, youth can reach out to Kids Help Phone at kidshelpphone.ca, call 1-800-668-6868, or text 686868.
