The Napanee Raiders hit the road Tuesday night to head to Lakefield to play the Chiefs.
It was a one goal first period with the Chiefs taking a 1-0 lead. Lakefield scored early in the second to take a 2-0 lead, but the Raiders quickly retaliated with three goals by Ben White (2) and Reid Lambert to take a 3-2 lead. Christos Chronis opened the scoring in the third period to secure the Raiders lead at 4-2 before Lakefield scored their third of the night to bring the game within one goal. Then with less than 2-minutes left in the game, it was Ben White with his third of the night earning the hat trick and a 5-3 Raiders win lead! Michael Patrick added one last goal for the Raiders with 21-seconds left in the period for a 6-3 Raiders win!
The Napanee Raiders are in second place in the East Tod Division standings with a 16-5-1 record and 33 points.
The Raiders are back in action Friday, December 6th when they will host Trent Hills at 7:30pm and then on Sunday they’re back on the road against Amherstview at 7:25pm.
