This holiday season, the Ontario SPCA’s iAdopt for the Holidays campaign, running until December 24th, aims to find homes for 500 animals, including 25 at the Lennox & Addington Centre.
myFM spoke with Sara Vanderveer, who shared the holiday season is a great time to adopt because we’re often home more which can help with bonding.
If you’re not in a place to adopt right now, there are other ways you can support animals in need. They’re always looking for foster families and volunteers at the centre. If you’re looking for something more holiday themed, they have their Paws & Give shop available on their website.
