Friday night at the Best and Bash Arena, the Napanee Raiders hosted the Lakefield Chiefs for the final time this regular season.
It was a powerful start of the game with goals by Ethan Boutillier (2), Christos Chronis, Ben White and Trent Williams all scoring within the first 7 minutes and 20 seconds of the first period for a 5-0 lead. Second period also had it’s excitement with a few penalties and the Raiders 6th goal of the night by Trent Williams. A scoreless third period means a 6-0 shutout win for the Napanee Raiders.
As of the time of publication, the Napanee Raiders are second place in the East Tod Division standings with a 23-7-1-1 record and 48 points. The Raiders sit behind Frankford (25-7 record and 50 points), and are tied with Picton (22-9-1-1 record and 46 points).
The Raiders are back in action Sunday, January 19th, when the Raiders head to Port Hope for an afternoon game at 1:30pm.
