It was a thrilling night in Amherstview as the Napanee Raiders battled the Jets.
Reid Lambert scored 1:55 into the first period for a 1-0 Raiders lead early. Late in the period the Jets scored to tie things up. The second period saw one goal for the Raiders by Spencer Cranley to regain Napanee’s lead at 2-1. Near the half way point of the third period Ben White scored to solidify the Raiders lead which was then followed with a goal by Trent Williams for a 4-1 Raiders win!
The Napanee Raiders were tied for first place in the East Tod Division standings with a 25-7-1-1 record and 52 points, tied with the Frankford Huskies (26-8 record and 52 points).
There is no Friday night home game this week, but the Raiders will be home Saturday, January 25th to host the Port Hope Panthers at 3:30pm. Then, to finish the weekend, they head to Trent Hills on Sunday, January 26th at 4:00pm.
