The Town of Deseronto has secured a new score clock for its Community Centre, thanks to a 10-year sponsorship agreement with Gray’s IDA, AMI Properties/Damon Storage, McDougall Insurance, and OSR Performance.
The new clock will enhance local sports, including minor hockey and lacrosse, benefiting athletes, teams, and fans for years to come. Town officials say the partnership reflects strong community support for recreational facilities.
A special pre-game ceremony was held on January 25, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Deseronto Community Centre to celebrate the collaboration. The event will took place before the Deseronto Senior “A” Bulldogs beat the Tweed Oil Kings 9-5.
Mayor Dan Johnston expressed gratitude to the sponsors, highlighting the importance of community-driven initiatives. With this new addition, the Deseronto Community Centre remains a key hub for local sports and recreation, fostering growth and engagement in the community.
