
Minister of Public Safety David McGuinty and newly appointed Canada Fentanyl Czar Kevin Brosseau paid a visit to the Lansdowne Border crossing on Wednesday morning.
They toured the facility which saw major upgrades in 2017.
After being appointed to his new position this week, Brosseau said he is ready to get going.
McGuinty spoke about Mr. Brosseau’s role as Fentanyl Czar.
McGuinty beileves Brosseau’s extensive U.S and Canada border experience will be key.
Brosseau talked about his plans for his role.
Brosseau said he is looking forward to speaking with U.S Border Czar Tom Homan, a Northern New York native and working together to stop the Fentanyl crisis.
