A united front could be forming at Queen’s Park with the Ontario PC government getting an offer from the Opposition NDP to work together to face a common threat.
When the writ was dropped, Premier Doug Ford said he called the election to be handed a mandate to take on a potential trade war with Donald Trump and the United States.
In his victory speech last night, Ford reiterated his resolve and confidence in the people of Ontario and the entire country.
In her concession speech, NDP leader, and leader of the opposition, Marit Stiles made an offer to Premier Ford.
As of this morning, Ford hadn’t commented on Stiles’ offer.
