A free Drinking Water Wise Webinar will be held on Wednesday, April 9, from 12:00-1:30 pm, covering essential well maintenance and safety tips.
The webinar is part of the Drinking Water Wise series, organized by the Best Practices Eastern Ontario Working Group, including the Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Region, Quinte Source Protection Area, Cataraqui Source Protection Area, and Trent Conservation Coalition Source Protection Region.
The virtual event, hosted on Zoom, will feature guest speakers Kyle Smith, a licensed well technician, and Brittany Murcar, a public health inspector. Topics include well maintenance, keeping proper well records, identifying signs of malfunction, and well testing to ensure safe drinking water.
