Canada’s Volunteer Awards are calling for nominations to honor individuals, not-for-profit organizations, social enterprises, and socially responsible businesses making a significant impact through volunteering.
There are five award categories: the Thérèse Casgrain Lifelong Achievement Award (national) and Community Leader, Emerging Leader, Business Leader, and Social Innovator (regional).
Residents can nominate multiple volunteers. The winners will be celebrated at a national ceremony, and each recipient can choose a not-for-profit organization to receive a grant—$10,000 for the national winner and $5,000 for regional winners.
