Paid parking will return to Picton starting April 1, 2025. Drivers will be required to pay for parking in the downtown core and Market Lane parking lot from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM. The paid parking period runs from April 1 to November 30, excluding holidays.
Parking stations are located approximately 20 metres apart and accept coins, credit cards, and non-PIN debit cards. Drivers can also use the Passport Parking App to pay via their mobile devices.
Street parking will have a two-hour maximum, but there is no time limit for Market Lane parking spaces.
Limited free parking is available at municipal lots on 55 King Street and Mary Street.
In Wellington, a two-hour parking limit will be introduced as of April 1, though parking will remain free in both Wellington and Bloomfield.
