Nominations are now open for Loyalist Township’s Civic Awards, which recognize outstanding volunteers who make a difference in the community.
Residents can nominate individuals, groups, or non-profit organizations that have dedicated their time and skills to improving Loyalist Township through projects, events, and community service. Nominees must either live in the township, own a business there, or directly serve the community.
Award categories include Citizen of the Year (Bill Lowry Award), Junior Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Organization of the Year, and the ResiLient Community Award. While nominees can be considered for multiple awards, they can only win one per year.
Loyalist Township emphasizes the importance of volunteers in making the community a great place to live and work.
Nominations close on April 11, 2025. Forms are available at loyalist.ca/civicawards.
