New federal riding boundaries: What’s changed in Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga

Hundreds of boundary lines have been redrawn for the Federal election.

Hastings-Lennox and Addington now includes Tyendinaga in the name, though they have always been a part of the riding. The boundary has also changed and now includes the east end of Quinte West up to the Trent River.

Spokesperson for Elections Canada, Diane Benson explains that periodic reviews are needed.

Benson says this review resulted in wide-spread change with hundreds of new boundaries drawn.
