A Kingston resident is facing several charges after a doctor was assaulted and threatened at a medical clinic in Amherstview.
Lennox and Addington Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to the clinic just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26. According to police, they recieved a report that a patient assaulted and threatened a doctor, though no one was injured.
Police arrested 29-year-old Karli Clark of Kingston. The accused has been charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and uttering threats to damage property.
Clark was held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing in Greater Napanee on March 27.
