The Napanee Raiders have tied their Tod Division Final with a win tonight at home in front of an enthusiastic home crowd!
Following a scoreless first period, it was Frankford who scored first in the second period. Trent Williams then scored for the Raiders on the rebound to tie the game 1-1. Napanee’s Ben White scored 42 seconds into the third period to give the Raiders their first lead of the night. Trent Williams then scored his second of the night in the back half of the third for a 3-1 lead. And then Andrew Carr scored on the empty net with 19 seconds left in the game for a 4-1 Raiders win!
The Raiders are 10-4 so far in the playoffs and have tied their division final against Frankford 2-2. The winner of this series will move on to play the winner of the East Orr Division Final, the Clarington Eagles, who swept the Georgina Ice 4-0.
