
The Defeat Depression Walk is back for another year, raising important funds for the region.
Campaign Assistant Brandi McConkey told us it is a two-and-a-half kilometre walk to bring awareness of depression and mood disorders, and raise money for mental health support programs.
She says the number of people in the region who are experiencing depression has increased since the pandemic.

Audio PlayerThis Defeat Depression Walk in Kingston takes place at Lake Ontario Park on May 31st. The Belleville and Kingston Canal Pursuit Defeat Depression Events will take place August 23rd.
