
The Town of Greater Napanee is looking for new Livestock Evaluators to help support local farmers through the Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program. The job involves investigating cases where livestock, poultry, or bees are injured or killed by wildlife.
Evaluators must respond to reports within 72 hours and collect photo or video evidence to determine the cause of the damage. A full report must be completed and submitted to the town within 10 business days. Applicants must have access to a vehicle and preferably live in Greater Napanee. Previous experience with livestock is considered an asset, and training will be provided by the Ministry.
This is an on-call, contract role. Evaluators will earn a flat rate of $100 per call plus mileage. Interested applicants can email their resume and qualifications to jwalters@greaternapanee.com by Friday, May 2, 2025.
