The City of Belleville has appointed Kari Lambe as its new Director of Community Services. Lambe brings a strong background in recreation and community services, with previous leadership roles in Loyalist Township, Gananoque, and Huntsville. She will officially begin her new position on May 12.
Most recently, Lambe worked as Manager of Recreation and Facilities for Loyalist Township. She also served as Director of Community Services in Huntsville and Manager of Community Services in Gananoque.
Belleville city officials say Lambe was selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants. Her proven leadership and passion for community engagement helped her stand out.
The city says Lambe will provide strategic direction for key areas such as parks, recreation, facilities, events, arts, and culture.
Lambe says she is excited to join the Belleville team and looks forward to building strong relationships with local organizations, volunteers, and residents to support community development.
