Macleans Magazine has ranked Loyalist as one of Canada’s safest communities. Macleans measured using the Crime Severity Index of 237 urban communities around Canada, and found Loyalist had a CSI of just 32.5, 40 points lower than the average of 72.9, making Loyalist the 25th safest place in Canada.
